Evaluation of Nursing Staff's Practices about Aseptic Technique in Operation Room

The process of using practices and procedures to prevent contamination from pathogens. It involves applying the strictest rules minimize risk infection. Healthcare professionals use aseptic technique in surgery rooms, clinics, outpatient care centers, other health settings. present study aimed evaluate nursesꞌ about operation room. A quantitative design (descriptive study) was carried out at Al-Diwaniya Teaching Hospital for period 15thoctober, 2021 28thapril, 2022. Purposive sample comprised (30) nurses who have been actually working through practice checklist includes (20) items concerning results revealed that majority participants were a moderate level room as show 28(93.3%) with mean score standard division (1.85 ∓ 0.120), concluded recommended staff can be encouraged motivated participating special training programs conference leading long experience teaching procedure fulfill needs defects limitation their knowledge practice.
